Three-Day Living History Experience Returns June 5–7, 2026 in Reading, Pennsylvania
READING, PA — The Mid Atlantic Air Museum is proud to announce the return of its nationally celebrated World War II Weekend, taking place June 5–7, 2026, at the museum’s campus located at 110 Air Museum Drive, Reading, PA 19605. This annual event—one of the nation’s largest and most immersive WWII reenactments—invites attendees to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds, and stories of the Greatest Generation.
For more than three decades, World War II Weekend has honored veterans and preserved history through unforgettable reenactments, historic aircraft, military encampments, living history displays, and interactive demonstrations. Guests will encounter:
- Dozens of authentic WWII aircraft on display and performing throughout the weekend
- Live reenactments showcasing battles, period vehicles, and wartime scenarios
- Meet-and-greets with veterans, sharing firsthand accounts from the era
- Historic exhibits, memorabilia, and education stations for all ages
- Family-friendly activities, food vendors, and encampment tours
